There are new sidekicks out at Walmart with Mystery Cars in a foil wrapper...not a blister

pack. There are 24. Although you cannot see what the car is inside the wrapper, you can

tell what the car inside is by looking at the upper left corner of the wrapper. There is. "D"

number and another next to it going from 1 to 24. That is the number the car is. Pictures

on the back of the pack will tell you what car goes with that number. There is also a mini

poster in each pack too of the 24 cars. Cost is $1.07....same as the regular HWs. There

are 96 cars per sidekick.

Indianapolis, IN (June 14, 2011) GreenLight has jumped into the passenger seat for this

adventure, utilizing their NBC Universal licensing for the Fast and Furious franchise.

GreenLight plans to introduce multiple offerings that will be affiliated with the series

throughout the next year and parallel the release of the newest installment; Fast Five.

GreenLight will be introducing the following Fast and Furious licensed offerings for 2011:

Fast Five is the fifth entry in the Fast and Furious series. The film is based on long-time criminal Dominic Torreto (Vin Diesel) teaming up with former FBI agent Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) on the wrong side of the law for a wild ride of fast cars and fiery explosions. Torreto and O’Conner lead a reunion of returning stars from each chapter of the series for the first “heist” film in the franchise. They gather in Rio De Janeiro for an ultimate high stakes race.

The first action sequence of Fast Five stars a silver Grand Sport; the victim of a car theft aboard a running passenger train. Driven by Dom, this scene is impressive and captures the fun and heart pumping adventure that the franchise was built upon. GreenLight chose to replicate this car from Fast Five as it gives the most dramatic representation of the accelerating appeal that fans and car lovers can expect to experience.

These 1:18 and 1:64 die-cast replicas feature detailed engines, real rubber tires, metal body and chassis, detailed graphics, custom license plates and are officially licensed. The Fast Five - 1:18 1963 Chevrolet Convertible Grand Sport is scheduled for an August release date, Fast Five - 1:64 1970 Dodge Charger – “Rio Charger” and 2Fast 2Furious - 1:64 1970 Dodge Challenger are set to be released within 1:64 GL Hollywood Series 1 and Fast Five - 1:64 2010 Dodge Charger “Rio Police” is scheduled for 1:64 GL Hollywood Series 2. The Indy Pace Car diorama celebrates the centennial milestone of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). The Diorama shows the 2011 and 2010 Camaro SS Pace Cars, in their complementing paint schemes.

GL Muscle displays two Mustangs with very contrasting body deco. They are placed in a body shop scene where the 1966 year is raw metal and in the beginning stages of a restoration project and the 2010 year is painted and striped.

It’s a real action scene for the Hot Pursuit diorama. The two cars are flying as the Monaco attempts to apprehend the Corvette. As the scenery flashes by, we can almost feel the wind in our hair from the speed of these machines.

Indianapolis, IN (April 20, 2011) On April 17, 1964, the production version of the Mustang was launched. The model was introduced with three available body types. The “fastback” is the most exciting sounding of the three styles, which pulls its namesake from its most distinguishing characteristic; the roofline that slopes continuously down at the back. The “fast” part, well that goes without saying!


The 1968 Mustang models were the first to incorporate important safety features, such as the three point lap belts, front and rear side marker lights, flush mounted interior door pulls, and an energy absorbing steering column. Other changes included air-conditioning integrated into the dash, rear fold-down seat, rear window defogger, re-designed front power disc brakes, and the all new 302 cid engine.


The Mustang fastback gained popular culture status when used in the crime thriller Bullitt (1968). Lt. Frank Bullitt, played by actor Steve McQueen, drove a modified Highland Green 1968 Mustang GT fastback with 390 cu in (6.4 L) 4V engine, chasing two hit men in a black 1968 Dodge Charger in the film's car chase through the streets of San Francisco.


The 1968 Mustang GT Fastback has played a part in the automobile and cultural evolution of America. GreenLight pays homage to this contribution through their notorious high attention to detail and meticulous execution of 1:18 scale die cast. is the GreenLight offering of a toy product line. Created to appeal to a younger demographic

by its economical price point and brightly decorated body paint schemes, this series is a

stepping stone into the wonderful world of collectible die cast and a fun complement to the

1:64 Motor World Series 5 will debut a newly updated fresh and fun packaging design.


The entire package has been reworked, including aesthetic design, logo and even the organization of the sub-series classification. 1:64 Route 66 Series 1 takes GreenLight collectors down memory lane

GreenLight is adding a new product theme Spring 2011 under their 1:64 GreenLight SE category


Indianapolis, IN (March 10, 2011) 1:64 Route 66 U.S.A represents a part of American

motorist evolution and draws on the nostalgia of a time when travelers of yesteryear took to

the pavement with a sense of adventure and California dreams. GreenLight translates this period of history through a mix of retro and modern-day cars. Highlighting popular sights and scenes found on the westbound journey.


Each car in the series will be packaged with a Route 66 trading card that highlights a stop along the highway.


When deciding which tourist attractions would go best with their respective cars, GreenLight had to define what makes a great Route 66 business. The number one piece of criteria; you’ve got to have a gimmick. These stops all are an added reason that Route 66 gained its acclaim into motorist’s notoriety across the US.


The road side stops and attractions range from the modern and new, drawing on a young wave of Route 66 enthusiasts to the aged and hardly recognizable points that have stood ground since inception. Route 66 holds a large bit of mystic, and tells a story of adventure, independence, long distance travel and our cultural revolution.


The cars chosen to represent alongside these destinations are reflecting of the personality and time period of which the location was established.

GreenLight offers two historically famous 1:18 Scale 1980 Trans Ams

These two cars pulled from entertainment history glorify our need for speed!


Indianapolis, IN (March 2, 2011) The newest wave of 1:18 GreenLight Exclusives pays homage to the two great places that as automobile lovers we gather the fuel for our passion; the race track and the movie screen. Both cars in the release are a 1:18 1980 Pontiac Trans Am, and though pulled from the same original casting they occupy two separate and distinctive origins within entertainment history.


In motorsport there is a safety or “Pace Car” that is used to limit the speed of the competing cars on a racetrack for a caution period. During this period competitors are not allowed to pass the Pace Car. The officials at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have been selecting a Pace Car and its driver for the Indy 500 each year the race has been held. For the 1980 Indy 500 Race a distinctive 1980 Pontiac Turbo-Trans Am was the official Pace Car. Powered by a turbocharged 4.9L V-8 engine, the Turbo-Trans Am needed only minor modifications to bring it up to Pace Car specs. The 1980 Trans Am was piloted by 1950 Indy 500 winner Johnnie Parsons, Sr. GreenLight recreates this machine on 1:18 scale with all details 100% accurate from the flaming chicken on the hood to the monster engine under the hood!


For the second 1:18 1980 Trans Am in the release, GreenLight references a classic vehicle in automobile cinematography. Smokey and the Bandit II debuted in the United States on August 15, 1980. It was the sequel to the 1977 film Smokey and the Bandit, which starred Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jerry Reed, Jackie Gleason, Jackie Gleason and Dom DeLuise. The story centers on Bo "Bandit" Darville (Burt Reynolds) a now washed-up has-been living in the past. It has been years since Bandit and Cledus "Snowman" Snow (Jerry Reed) made their famous 28-hour run to Texas for a few cases of Coors. It is not till Big Enos and Little Enos make them an offer on another cross-country run that Cledus seeks the help of Frog (Sally Field) to encourage the Bandit to sober up and regain his fitness. The job involves transporting an elephant from Florida to Texas and once again, Sheriff Buford T. Justice played by Jackie Gleason is in hot pursuit to apprehend Bandit in the name of the law. Frog abandons her second attempt at wedding Buford T. Justice's son Junior to help and buys Bandit a 1980 Turbo Trans Am powered by the Turbo 301; his iconic get-a-way car.


Both 1:18 die-cast replicas have feature full metal body and chassis, detailed graphics, custom license plates, opening doors, hood and trunk, fabric seatbelts and are officially licensed by automotive manufacture and respective entertainment affiliation. Their release is scheduled for March 2011 and will be available through official GreenLight hobby shops and wholesale dealers.

The 1:64 scale return of this highly popular release makes way into the 2011GreenLight

Indianapolis, IN (February 22, 2011) GreenLight first introduced the 1:64 Black Bandit

Series 1 in 2008, and the production run sold out to GreenLight Distributors before it arrived in the US. With all stock spoken for it was an extremely collectible and a highly anticipated series. This fueled a great demand and a popular series was born!

1:64 Black Bandit has been produced in 1:24 and 1:18 scales but the timeless classic 1:64 is back on the pegs with this Special Edition release. The 1:64 Black Bandit Special Edition has continued with the sell out trend with all 15,000 pieces of this entire Mopar casting release being shipped out to Hobby Distributors and Toys R Us upon arrival.


Every car included in 1:64 Black Bandit Special Edition is Mopar (short for Motor Parts), the automobile parts and service arm of Chrysler Group LLC.
